The College at Brockport, State University of New York is seeking applicants for anticipated part-time adjunct faculty openings in the Delta College program.

Position Description
The Delta College program typically hires adjunct faculty to teach classroom-based and on-line courses for the areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Illustrative needs include courses in the humanities, fine arts, and social sciences, as well as an interdisciplinary seminar.

Required Qualifications

    Master's Degree in a humanities, fine arts, or social science discipline by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university, or an appropriate level of experience commensurate with the adjunct lecturer responsibilities.



Preferred Qualifications

    Doctorate in a humanities, fine arts, or social science discipline by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university. Significant teaching experience.

Salary and Benefits
$2,500 per 3 credit hour course (this amount may vary and if it does it requires the Dean's office and the Provost's office approval.) Health insurance is available to part-time faculty who teach six or more credits, contact hours, or credit equivalents per semester.
