MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline. Degree at the time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree by August 1, 2019. Specialization in the area of Chemical Process Engineering or a closely related field. Potential for effective teaching at the college level. Record of or demonstrated potential for successful research, scholarly and creative activities. Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population.

DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level.
Experience in teaching courses that heavily involve chemical process design, process optimization, and process simulation using modern engineering tools. Demonstrated ability and clear plans for the development of research programs and curriculum in the areas of integrated process design, biochemical and pharmaceutical process engineering, process optimization, and environmental systems.
